Kam Tong Garden in Great Holm, MK.

Come to the Kam Tong Garden in Great Holm, MK on Wednesday 9th October and paint the Autumnal “Autumn Bridge“, based on a design by Cinnamon Cooney – The Art Sherpa”.  

The greens of Summer are changing to the reds, oranges and browns of Autumn as the nights visibly draw in.

Not sure of canvas size yet, maybe a 35cm x 45cm.  A memorable piece of art that will look good on your wall. 

Tickets are £31.00 downwards, and at the end of the evening you will take away your own personal masterpiece. The ticket price includes ALL materials and equipment, and you will be able to purchase an optional frame for £15.00 if you want.

It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paint brush for years, because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Our resident artist will take you, step-by-step, through the process of turning your blank canvas into your own personal masterpiece. With a glass in one hand, and a paintbrush (or a cotton bud) in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. So power up your inner Picasso and come and join us.

We provide everything that you need…… a canvas or board, easel, brushes, paints, aprons, music and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

What You Will Learn

As well as being a social event, it is also a creative learning event and it will show you techniques that will help you help your younger relatives come top of the class in art. You’ll will trace through the image, then apply acrylic paint in a watercolour way.

Tickets are from £31.00 and a quantity discount applies. The ticket price does NOT include refreshments, but drinks and food can be bought at the bar, and of course the Kam Tong Garden Kitchen has a great menu. The ticket price includes ALL materials and equipment, and at the end of the evening you will take away your own personal masterpiece. You will be able to purchase an optional frame for £15.00 if you want. Be warned, the setup of the venue does NOT lend itself to a full scale meal whilst painting, but finger food is easily accommodated.

Autumn Bridge – Do It Your Way

As well as being a social event, it is also a creative learning event and it will help you help your younger relatives come top of the class in art. You can use different colours, you can try different colour schemes – it’s up to you.

No experience required. Follow along with our simple step by step instructions or go with your own creative flow and do your own thing. We’ll be there to offer guidance if you need it! You can interpret our guidance in any way you like. If you want to change the colours to suit your home décor, then feel free to do so – bring some of your own wall paint if you want. We think though that the lovely colour effects effects makes this painting. It is great when people do their own thing, we love it when we learn a new way to do something. 

The event starts at 6.30 pm but it helps if you arrive around 15 minutes early to grab a seat, grab a drink and grab an easel. We start at 6.30 pm, and will definitely by finished by 21.30 pm.

Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case).

A Paint Night Party is a social event first, and an art lesson second. It’s Fun Art set to music, not Fine Art done dull.
