GIN WILL BE SERVED AT LUNCHTIME.

Gray Mountain – You Don’t Need Skill, Just A Desire To Paint

The Bob Ross “Gray Mountain” shows a setting sun, at the turn of a season – probably the end of Autumn – you choose. This full day event will be held at The Little Brickhill Village Hall, Watling Street, Little Brickhill, Milton Keynes, MK17 9NB on Wednesday 10th August starting at 10.30.

As well as our full day painting lessons in and around Milton Keynes, we also do painting evenings in Pubs and Bars.

The Bob Ross technique helps people produce a fully detailed beautiful painting within a very short time. The Bob Ross technique uses specific tools, paints and techniques to produce a lovely painting in one sitting. Although Bob could do his in 30 minutes, we wdo require a bit longer. It uses the wet-on-wet style of painting and a number of specially designed paints, knives, brushes to produce clouds, mountains, trees and water within minutes. These longer workshops are designed to help you produce more detailed paintings than our evening events. Learn more about Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting.

It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paint brush for years, because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Russell Collins is the only Certified Ross Instructor in Buckinghamshire and he will take you, step-by-step, though then process of turning your blank canvas into your own special masterpiece. With a glass in one hand, and a paintbrush in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. You are guaranteed to produce a beautiful painting that you will be proud to hang on your wall.

As always, we provide everything that you need…… a 40cm x 80cm, or 50cm x 70cm canvas, easel, brushes, paints, aprons, music and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

The Bob Ross Technique

You will be applying specific techniques at specific parts of the day and you will need to follow the Bob Ross method to get the best possible picture though. There will be some opportunity to go off-piste, but following the Bob Ross process work’s best.

The event starts at 10.30 am but arrive around 15 minutes early and we will definitely be finished by 16.30. Grab a seat, grab a cuppa and grab an easel.

Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case). Be warned that we will be using oil paints, and these take anything from a couple of days to a week to dry. It will be easy to take your painting home if you buy a frame. But if you don’t buy one then we have a way to protect your painting so that you can take it home.

Ticket prices of £85.00 for adults include ALL materials and equipment required – you just bring yourself. It also including tea, coffee, and biscuits, but NOT lunch, it does though include a G&T or two curtesy of my stock of Craft Gin Club bottles You can buy a frame for £25.00, but you don’t need to.
