Oriental Falls. Come and paint this Bob Ross painting with a difference – Oriental Falls, a Japanese style masterpiece that looks almost like a watercolour. This is a soft and gentle piece of art that will bring calm to any wall. This is another full Bob Ross style painting day. It’s a full Bob Ross painting created by the master himself.
We will be in the Drawing Room of The Westbury Arts Centre – a spacious and airy room just made for artists.
GIN WILL BE SERVED AT LUNCHTIME.
A Bob Ross with a difference, no happy little clouds here, but a Japanese inspired watercolour style river and waterfall. This full day event will be held at Westbury Arts Centre, Foxcovert Road, Shenley Wood, MK5 6AA. As well as our full day painting lessons in Milton Keynes, we also do painting evenings in Pubs and Bars.
The Bob Ross technique helps people produce a fully detailed beautiful painting within a very short time. It uses the wet-on-wet style of painting and a number of specially designed paints, knives, brushes to produce clouds, mountains, trees and water within minutes. These longer workshops are designed to help you produce more detailed paintings than our evening events. Learn more about Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting.
It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paint brush for years, because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Our resident artist will take you, step-by-step, though then process of turning your blank canvas into your own special masterpiece. With a glass in one hand, and a paintbrush in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. You are guaranteed to produce a beautiful painting that you will be proud to hang on your wall.
As always, we provide everything that you need…… a 40cm x 80cm, or 50cm x 70cm canvas, easel, brushes, paints, aprons, music and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

The Bob Ross technique is a style of painting that requires the Bob Ross equipment, materials and techniques. You will need to follow the Bob Ross method to get the best possible picture though. There will be some opportunity to go off-piste, but following the Bob Ross process work’s best.
The event starts at 10.30 am but arrive around 15 minutes early. Grab a seat, grab a cuppa and grab an easel. We start at 10.30, and will definitely by finished by 16.30. Westbury Arts Centre doesn’t have a bar, but GIN WILL BE SERVED at lunchtime. A Subway lunch will also be provided.
Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case). Be warned that we will be using oil paints, and these take anything from a couple of days to a week to dry. It will be easy to take your painting home if you buy a frame. But if you don’t buy one then we have a way to protect your painting so that you can take it home.
Although we are not cancelling any events, we are implementing a Coronavirus safeguarding policy.
Ticket prices of £65.00 for adults and £50.00 for under 18s include ALL materials required, tea, coffee, biscuits, and a Subway lunch. You can buy a frame for £20.00, but you don’t need to.
Car parking is available at Westbury Art Centre grounds.
A Bob Ross day is a social event first, and an art lesson second. It’s Fun Art set to music, not Fine Art done dull.
