Paint Flowers

Tuesday 12th March (Date Change)

The Flying Fox – Woburn

Image of FlowerPaint Flowers. Come to the warmth of The Flying Fox, Hockcliffe, on Tuesday 12th March and learn how to Paint Flowers.

There will be £3.00 off each bottle of wine sold to attendees.

Tickets are £31.00 downwards, and at the end of the evening you will take away your own personal masterpiece. The ticket price includes ALL materials and equipment, and you will be able to purchase an optional frame for £15.00 if you want.

It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paint brush for years, because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Our resident artist will take you, step-by-step, through the process of turning your blank canvas into your own personal masterpiece. With a glass in one hand, and a paintbrush (or a cotton bud) in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. So power up your inner Picasso and come and join us.

We provide everything that you need…… a 30cm x 60cm  canvas, easel, brushes, paints, aprons, music and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

What You Will Learn

As well as being a social event, it is also a creative learning event and it will show you techniques that will help you help your younger relatives come top of the class in art when it comes to painting autumn colours. You will learn, in this event, how to paint flowers, gress, stalks and stamens.

Tickets for Paint Flowers

Tickets are from £31.00 and a quantity discount applies. The ticket price does NOT include refreshments, but drinks and food can be bought at the bar, and of course the Flying Fox has a great Tapas menu. The ticket price includes ALL materials and equipment, and at the end of the evening you will take away your own personal masterpiece. You will be able to purchase an optional frame for £15.00 if you want. Be warned, the setup of the venue does NOT lend itself to a full scale meal whilst painting, but Tapas finger food is easily accommodated.

Paint Flowers – Do It Your Way

We’re only going to guide you, we’re not going to instruct you. If you want to do it your own way, then feel free – You can interpret our guidance in any way you like. If you want to change the colours of the background to suit your home décor, then feel free to do so – bring some of your own wall paint if you want. We think though that the lovely colour effects effects makes this painting. It is great when people do their own thing, we love it when we learn a new way to do something.

It’s a 6.30pm start, but you might want to arrive at about 6.15pm to grab a seat, grab an easel and a drink before you start. We will definitely be finished by 9.30pm.

Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case).

Special Notes

It’s £3.00 off a bottle of wine on the evening, but you must order from your easel. Tickets for Paint Flowers start at £31.00, and a quantity discount applies. It will be the Tapas menu only for food during the event.

Car Parking

There is plenty of car parking at The Flying Fox.
