Sagrada Familia

Wednesday 5th February

No 31 High Street

Sagrada Familia by Russell CollinsThe Sagradia Familia, in the style of Monet at a new venue in Woburn Sands the No 31 Tapas Bar & Kitchen . Come and paint your own moody and evocative version of one of Europe’s most enigmatic buildings – The Sagradia Familia – in the style of Monet. Designed by Gaudi from 1872; construction started in March 1882 and might just be finished by 2026.

This event was originally booked for the 13th January.

You can find information on the style of Monet, and techniques on how to paint the style in the “Downloads” section on the right hand side and below.

Artist Ticket prices start from £29.00 per person downwards depending on numbers.  Food and drink can be purchased from the bar.

At the end of the evening you will take away your own personal masterpiece. The ticket price includes ALL materials and equipment, and you will be able to purchase an optional frame for £10.00 if you want.

It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paint brush for years, because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Our resident artist will take you, step-by-step, through the process of turning your blank canvas into your own special masterpiece. With a glass in one hand, and a paintbrush (or a cotton bud) in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. So Motor Up your Inner Monet and come and join us.

We provide everything that you need…… a 40cm x 50cm canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and aprons etc. We also provide music and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

Sagrada Familia – Do It Your Way

Monet painted the Houses of Parliament many times and under different weather conditions, and you will be able to paint the Sagrada Familia church his way. We’re only going to guide you and show you how to do it, we’re not going to tell you what to do. If you want to do it your own way, then feel free – You can interpret our guidance in any way you like. If you want to change the colours to suit your home décor, then feel free to do so and we will provide you with the colour scheme to do it. It is great when people do their own thing, we love it when we learn a new way to do something.

The event starts at 7.00 pm but it helps if you arrive around 6.45 pm to grab a seat, grab a drink and grab an easel. You can if you wish arrive early to eat before we start, or eat during the evening. We start at 7.00, and will definitely by finished by 10.00.

Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case).
