Tropical Beach – You Don’t Need Skill, Just A Desire To Paint

The Bob Ross “Tropical Beach” shows the sun setting at the end of a hot relaxing Carribean day. This full day event will be held at The Woolpack, Buckingham, 57 Well Street, Buckingham, MK18 1EP . As well as our full day painting lessons in and around Milton Keynes, we also do painting evenings in Pubs and Bars.

The Bob Ross technique helps people produce a fully detailed beautiful painting within a very short time. It uses the wet-on-wet style of painting and a number of specially designed paints, knives, brushes to produce clouds, mountains, trees and water within minutes. These longer workshops are designed to help you produce more detailed paintings than our evening events. Learn more about Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting.

It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paint brush for years, because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Our resident artist will take you, step-by-step, though then process of turning your blank canvas into your own special masterpiece. With a glass in one hand, and a paintbrush in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. You are guaranteed to produce a beautiful painting that you will be proud to hang on your wall.

As always, we provide everything that you need…… a 40cm x 80cm, or 50cm x 70cm canvas, easel, brushes, paints, aprons, music and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

The Bob Ross technique is a style of painting that requires the Bob Ross equipment, materials and techniques. You will need to follow the Bob Ross method to get the best possible picture though. There will be some opportunity to go off-piste, but following the Bob Ross process work’s best.

The event starts at 10.30 am but arrive around 15 minutes early. Grab a seat, grab a cuppa and grab an easel. We start at 10.30, and will definitely by finished by 16.30.  Although the Woolpack is a pub, GIN WILL BE SERVED at lunchtime.

Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case). Be warned that we will be using oil paints, and these take anything from a couple of days to a week to dry. It will be easy to take your painting home if you buy a frame. But if you don’t buy one then we have a way to protect your painting so that you can take it home.

Coronavirus Safeguarding

Although we are not cancelling any events, we are implementing a Coronavirus safeguarding policy.
