Cherry Tree Holding The Moon

The first Paint Night Party, on the 25th April at The Three Trees was a great success. Fourteen people came and painted Cherry Tree Holding The Moon.

The subject painting was Cherry Tree Holding The Moon by Cinnamon Cooney AKA The Art Sherpa. Cherry Tree Holding The Moon is a lovely soft focus photographic illusion painting of the branches, leaves and blossom of a cherry tree hugging the moon gently.

Not everyone followed the artist though and Jude (12) decided to follow his Grandfather’s abstract style, and produce his own interpretation. We all thought it the best painting of the lot.
